Most folk are agreed that yesterday's result flattered St. Johnstone, and we didn't really expect to win. Next Saturday's game is different. United seem to be running away with the league but they've had a couple of stumbles along the way.

Old man says there was nothing in it yesterday except the goals and I laughed. Says we'll give united a good game.

Dunno. We were doing much better until yesterday. Still some strange messing about with the squad though.

I really don't get what's happening with the lad Welsh. He's a centre half on loan from a big club and being played at right back. It doesn't compute.

Aye he brought back the boy Tumilty and then played Welsh at RB - very strange. Seen the highlights there and I think we actually done quite well. We might just surprise a few folk this weekend.

United looked okay this afternoon. It's going to be tough getting anything from this game.

We need a wee rub o' the green and it may well come on Saturday. United's unbeaten run will end at some point!

Nothing surprises me any more this season. Could be another 6-0 drubbing or a welcome three pointer

How many games did the great Morton team of '63 go without defeat? I'm sure it was a good deal more than Dundee United's current 13 game run.

My point being that although it can't last forever, it can last far beyond a meagre 13 games.

Johnny, surely you have not forgotten already.

On 29 February the Ton play Queen of the South.

On 29 February 1964, the Ton won promotion.

Will Dundee United win promotion by 29 February?

Before my time Spike.

They might well do but think it'll be a bit longer.

I think Morton have a better chance of finishing this season in a higher position than the great 63/64 team though. They currently sit in 20th place, only two places to go. Cool

Yes, johnny, you must be young.

Otherwise you would known that was a trick question.

What about the Ton team of 64/65?
