Too old and set in my ways for Twitter or Facebook but surely it cuts two ways. What I mean is the club could contact folk individually if it's not happy - or does it not work like that?

I've been reading all the stuff elsewhere and it's hard to know what to think. There's no doubt that if the Club Twitter's genuine they've really been very silly. Some of the stuff folk have been posting has been ridiculous but that's what you get with social media. They have to take the rough with the smooth imo.

Just read the C.E.O's stuff and he obviously doesn't understand the rules of social media. If somebody calls you a cunt you either beat them at their own game or chuck it! Imagine thinking anonymous keyboard heroes are going to turn up at Cappielow for a good biffing! big grin

On his way to Pishley for a fight on Wednesday.

Are tickets being sold?

The underlying problem of course should not be forgotten. Our club is being allowed to go to the dogs and folk will inevitably vent their spleen on social media.

Not sure what to make of the C.E.O.s actions. He doesn't come out smelling of roses, but he has backtracked and offered some sort of dialogue.

Most of the roasters have blocked me on Facebook and Twitter, not because I've abused them on it but 'in case' I do. Laughing Laughing

I wonder if the People's Champion had his meeting with the CEO today, or he shat his pants as he normally does.

The Dumb Freeze is closed due to flooding by salty tears.

I thought the lazy hacks were even worse than our predictable trolls. Nice to see that common sense has prevailed.

A veritable storm in a teacup if ever there was one, and as suggested, the level of journalism in this country is at rock bottom.

They say there's no such thing as bad publicity though! Onward and upwards (hopefully)!

Yes - but don't forget that it was the Club who started to use Twitter and their young media man has been well OTT at times in my opinion. That doesn't excuse trolling or abuse mind you.

Alice.

Having read his 'Tweets' and postings on the Morton forum, I confess to having been more than a little interested in the outcome of Russell Gordon's meeting with our Chief Executive. I'm certain that I was not alone after reading this sort of stuff:

TWITTER OTT? Screen10

When politely challenged by a fellow poster earlier this evening, Mr. Gordon appeared somewhat discombobulated!

TWITTER OTT? Screen11

Presumably 'King Bee's fellow posters also await a report of the outcome of the much vaunted meeting!
