I like almost every type and the smellier the better. Nothing to beat a glass of port with apple and stilton.

Edam and gouda but like most. Feta crumbled in salad is very tasty.

Extra mature Scottish cheddar (white's best) toasted on outsiders of a Scottish plain loaf. Salt and black pepper. Wash down with your favourite tipple. A feast for a king!

YIP - can't beat grated scottish cheddar and carrot  50/50 with HP sauce on a Morton's roll!

I love it that way too - between two toast slices. Has to be Scottish plain mind and I add ground black pepper!

When I was a lad, my Dad used to disgust all the weans by have cheese and jam on toast. Was this a common thing back in the day or was my Dad just odd?

Back in the day, that version of 'Sweet 'n' sour' was quite common, so your Dad wasn't queer! Laughing
